Tourism Pledge - Keeping You Safe This Summer

Tourism Pledge - Keeping You Safe This Summer

August 11, 2020
Tourism pledge sticker on dock at Roanoke Island Festival Park

We're taking the pledge! Roanoke Island Festival Park is joining the Outer Banks Visitor's Bureau in an effort to keep visitors and locals safe this summer. With your help, we can all learn to have fun safely while enjoying all the Outer Banks has to offer.

Outer Banks Tourism Pledge
Roanoke Island Festival Park cares about the health and wellbeing of our employees, our community and our customers. We pledge to take the specific actions shown for our business to help slow the Coronavirus and prevent its further spread. Please do your part too!

Safety Measures at the Park

  • Cleaning high touch point areas consistently throughout the day
  • Social distancing signs and reminders throughout the park
  • Limiting capacity of visitors on the Elizabeth II
  • Hand sanitizers stations throughout the park's venues
  • Staff are practicing the 3 W's - wearing masks, waiting 6 ft apart, and washing their hands

Our outdoor venues, including above deck on the Elizabeth II ship, American Indian Town, and Settlement Site are currently open for you to enjoy. The warm weather and outdoor attractions create an ideal environment to safely explore with your friends and family.

Thank you for working with us to keep each other safe this summer! Be safe. Be smart. Have fun!
