Part-Time Positions

Educational Interpreter - Part-Time/Seasonal

Roanoke Island Festival Park is seeking part time interpreters. Interpreters blend history with fun and help daily visitors and school groups explore Roanoke Island Festival Park.  Interpreters must be comfortable dressing in costume and portraying a 16th century English colonist, as well as working in the American Indian Town and Adventure museum as a non-costumed guide. Applicants must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, have a positive attitude, and enjoy working outside. $10/ hour up to 29 hours/ week. Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.

Sales Associate – Part-Time/Seasonal

Seeking part-time hourly sales associates in our retail and ticket sale venues. Strong communication skills, computer skills, operating of cash registers, counting and balancing of money and positive attitude are required. Position involves standing for long periods of time, working outdoors and availability to work weekends and holidays. $10/ hour, varied hours weekly but no more than 29 hours.
