The person in this position should have a working knowledge of NC history and be willing to dress in period costumes. This person should have a proven record of developing and implementing educational and fun programs for large groups. The position reports to the Manager of Education and interpretation. Daily duties and responsibilities include managing, training and scheduling of sales personnel, cash management, customer services and all other duties which may impact Ticket and Retail sales operation. Position must be familiar with inventory control procedures, administration of Purchase Orders and an understanding and knowledge of a Point of Sale system. The person in this position must also have the ability to display a large variety of merchandise such as gifts, apparel and books and manage a budget.
