2026 Fall Program Schedule
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2 - 4 pm
Humanity’s oldest friend, Elizabethans, had a love for drinks and played a significant part in their daily lives! From entertainment to daily survival, Englishmen of the past had to brew a lot of drinks to keep up! Come by the EII to see what historical beer and ale were made of and how it was made!
*Program runs from 9/8/26 to 11/19/26
Fridays from 10 to 12 pm
How good are your sword skills? Try them out on our sword course, where you’ll get practice with aim, maneuvering, and speed. Time yourself and aim for accuracy! Of course, we’ll provide the training sword.

How did different groups of people think about death in the 16th century? Come learn about all things macabre in a special guided tour of the park. We'll discuss the death practices of Algonquians on Roanoke Island, different ways English and Spanish sailors handled death, and English disease and death practices in a time of many outbreaks but no germ theory, antibiotics, or vaccines.
Date: Thursday, October 29th
When: 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Cost: Park & Program: $18 (adults 13+) or $16 (kids 3-12), get a 10% discount when purchased together! Or $5 for Special Program only. (Does not include park access outside of guided tour.)
*If park ticket and program ticket are bought at different times, the combo discount is not applicable. Cannot be combined with any other discount.
Tickets can be purchased in person only on October 28 & 29.
Meet at the Ticket Sales building 10 minutes before the program starts.
